"columbus day usually boring as shit but sunday 8 oct 17 went to the harp, North Station, near chet's, hangin' with the Bills mafia; what the hell is a Bill's burger? and they sold out of Genesee but "drank Labatt's". Bills lost to Cinccy and the Cincinnati kid panned the Gizmos that John Cougar praised sat 9 april 77; I SHALL get schadenfreude!!! Next up, Jacob Wirth with my cuzzin Miss Lyn, no Deutsch DNA, but I had the German sampler and a non alcoholic saint pauli gurl coz family tree DNA DID find me a fourth cuzzin. a Buckeye with a Swiss name but our great-greats were siblings; he from Doctor Nicholas Browning Youst, Basnettsville, WV and I from sister whom married a McBee blacksmith (dudes....fucken ANVIL!!!!!! metal! Wacken! even if the Yousts were von Bavaria). Lastly, Common at Seven;"wear your love like heaven" (a Real Kids/Donovan mashup by the Kenz soon on Kleen-Kut owned by Bavarian Americans!) the new Bladerunner (2049) ; i'll let Miss Lyn comment. (well nuthin is every gonna come close to the orig Blade Runner...nothing will ever be as new and ground breaking. The 2 hours 43 mins went by quickly, there was a bit of a visual feast along with a confusing story line. def worth checking out. Lots of verbal and visual reference to the original-ed) I'll be 93 when this "future" takes place but pollution, post-armageddon, teenage wasteland: filmed in Hungary, which i wasnt after German sampler (Pierre le Coutre Flensburg Groupie News sprechen: "das ist gut essen1" He wasnt there but he scanned the menu of a pub opened in 1800s by yet another bavarian like the Korps!). So i like how, in the film, they reasearch DNA to see if "Rachel the replicant" (spoiler alert!!!-ed) did have children with Harrison Ford and my favourite scene was his walled-off museum-like "this is the way Vegas WAS" to Ryan Gosling; holograms of Elvis and Sinatra singing, he pours some booze in a glass then pours some on floor for dog....(K: Is it a replicant? Deckert: Who knows.") THAT is the way life should be before Armageddon! Vegas is even more neon and dreary constant rain....otherwise, fucken three hours, goddam Bollywood gives you an intermission at least! If fucken Brattle does Bladerunner double feature better park yer ass there for five hours! and NOT during a Bills game! Gonzo Gizmo Meltzer cum Highland S. monday 9 oct 17 what better way to celebrate John Ono Lennon's 77th than 'walkin' in the rain" (Phil Spector!) to me local, it being flann o'briens. simultaneous watching of Sox losing playoffs and Eire beating Wales in world cup qualify plus bangers/chips/beans and I was "bloody well right"! as a fifth generation Irish-canadian and my sister recently being in Dublin; ok my ax-cent gaht american, first-ized to Bra-kport NY but how thrilled i was hearing "fookin hell!" and "wot thuh fook" as footie played loudly. Left in ninth inning of Sox, mister Highland S. Thompson, but more playoff action on TBS and WEEI 850 Am which did indeed pretty well broadcast four playoff games noon til midnight maybe....well wot the fook else was i supposed to do? Discover the Bahamas and the Taino Indians?".....

tuned into AXS caught a 1992 30 years of bob dylan at Madison square garden, a lotta Dead MEN (versus boys): jr cash/geo harrison/thomas petty etc. a DAMN good concert! highlights: the O'Jays, then Tom Petty doin' "rainy day wimmen" with the horn part done by slide guitar plus George Harrison doing a truly rockin' "absolutely sweet marie'...yep, i still dig Blonde on Blonde! big jam at end with ALL these classic rockers with the borin' ass 'knockin' on heaven's door', sinead o'connor lookin' pissed off, eric clapton playing quite precise but Neil Young's gonzo leads MAKE the song. In all, AXS my favourite classic-rock channel on direct tv! ($10/month on my phone!)".....,

i've been watching a russian tv series on youtube called Anna German. wikipedia and she really was a singer but her early life is quite a saga! catherine the great urged ethnic swiss/german menonites to settle in Odessa (great Bee gees pre-disco album!), including cuzzins of Gee Julie plus Paul Revere of raiders descended from these russian-germans. world war II is breaking out so the russkies are suspicious of all ethnic Germans (meanwhile, back in the states, they rounded up George Takei!) so Anna's family pretend they're dutch and/or polish and escape to polska. meanwhile she really can sing (acted in movies too!) it's just that life in world war II war-torn europe was a lot less idyllic than ma's life on a western NY farm. quite a good series recommended by me, other russian dramas, all seem heavy in a Doctor Zhivago way and I DID own the soundtrack back in '68!".....
