Issue #3, 1976
.......Congratulations to Willie Loco Alexander & The Boom
Boom Concert Band for winning the March tourney at The
Club, seems only fitting since Willie is the big daddy of all those
"nouveau" punks....It seems everyone was wrong about Bruce, Fox
Pass didn't even win on Friday nite but certainly made up for that
by playing warm up to Roxy Music earlier in
the month & getting a great rise out of the audience with Macey's
famous "Disco Sucks!" lines in 'Psycho (Disco)
Encounter', we're sure Fox Pass must
be enormously happy that Maxanne finds Mike
Roy so charming.......Rumor has it Matthew of Teddy
Boys fame is again craving a solo career & is working at it, all the
other Teddies say no, we'll have to wait and see.......from the cute little mouth of
Jace Wilson: "Tell 'em we're all virgins!"
hmmm, go get 'em girls!.....We were really excited to see Dave
Robinson back on the Boston scene again, but really Dave, why all that
fuzz on such a pretty face?!....A note to Jimmy Isaacs:
The Boize are a FIVE piece band! We doubt
Donny Randall is too frail physically OR
musically for you not to notice!....Steven Silva,
lead guitarist of Thundertrain has finally
found his "Little teenage teaser" Thunder T
fans will finally hear that long awaited tune, everybody should keep their eyes
& ears open for Thundertrain's next 45 "Hot
for Teacher" b/w "Rock'n'Roll Tonight". Willie
Alexander will be playing piano for them on that disc, should be great!!......We
saw ex-Lobster Charlie walking thru the Combat
Zone in real boss threads, does Charlie have a new profession???....cey
is really down on fags, is Jon out to prove
his sexuality again?.......Lookout for The Mindless Fucks
another Jeff Wilkinson production...After
having flings with Steven Tyler & John
Morse, Angie has fallen into the
hands of yet another big lipped singer, who's next honey?.......Plymouth, Mass rock
band Lizzie Borden met up with a well known
Boston rock'n'roll celeb at a local Burger King the other night, they hit it off
so well that Lizzie herself posed for pictures
outside the restaurant with him, who was this star??....possibly Roy Pace?....Lorenzo??…Tits
& ass were forced into the face of poor Jeff Ramone last
month when he and his band played here. He didn't seem to mind tho, he was smiling
all night right up till he left the party at The Teddy
Estate with the girl with the clutch bag, we're quite sure she'll show
up for their coming gig this spring.....The Mezz
are finally going into the studio to work on their version of a 45, they haven't
decided what tunes to do yet, we hope they keep their drummer long enough to get
the thing finished....The Real Kids are a band
again, with of course John Felice up front
& we hear ex-Mezz drummer Howie is banging
this time around....Ed Hood, the Pearl Mesta
of the local scene, entertained Lance Loud & The Mumps
when they were in town, Lance showed up complete
with boxer shorts showing gloriously thru his leather pants, real class....Miss
Lyn (of Cambridge) doing just what Lance
told her to do, keeping on her "party mood" and her roommate Helanie
had Fox Pass, Boize
& friends over for a party & some Good & Plentys...last week The
Mezz and Willie Loco bid farewell
to 11 year rock veteran Helanie, she's leaving
for warmer climates & healthier young boys in her silver Reb 400 Fiat, '76 no
less, we hope that back seat is big enough for those southern cuties, dear.....
Willie Locolost his hat again last Saturday
nite, second time in history, we hear it was quite a nite! We wonder who will
finally turn up with the hat, now what would Baretta
say about that WA?.....Who is the "Nose" & why do so many local boys want her?…&
with that we'll say 1st prize goes to Arlington for having girls that are so sickening
we won't even talk about them….too bad girls but you know who you are.......
