saturday 23 december 17, on the bluidy tube, needed the bluidy loo, went to my local, flann o'brian brigham circle, a full irish breakfast it was and TWO Prem-mirror league games on telly (I pernounce thet Pree-mere Leauge but....)....Newcastle beat West Ham 3-2. somewhere in a Geordie pub drinkin' newcastle brown was Bryan Ferry and the Animals; Sting walks in and Bryan sings "throw me a line I'm sink-ing!".....Manchester City beat Bournemouth four, nil....Morrisey still depressed. Keeping up with this absurdity of footie fans, the Cure hail from Crawley, Sussex; wikpiedia sport in Sussex: "Sussex is represented in the prem-mirror league by Brighton & Hove albion. in the 1983 FA Cup Final, Brighton & HoveAlbion lost to manccheeter city after a replay. WAS Morrisey still depressed that he beat Big Bobby of the Cure's ass at footie? Bluidy 'ell, i need a boilermaker for that 'un!"....

"coming up saturday 6 jan 17 midway afternoon show is frank chip langille fiddyith birthday. he's a kwincy kenne klone from granite rail.. this sat 6 jan 18 midway cafe show has tokyo tramps/greedy geezer/thin lizzy cover band and a metal band. chip never went to tt's coz they never had metal; i detect a jumper cables fan! and why IS he my doppelganger? seems before Nova Scotia, the langilles were in normandy three and a half hours from Ma's Norman ancestors the Veilluexs whom went to Quebec City 1659. I will wager Chip and I landed with Rollo blasting "imigrant song" from our viking ship; emigrating to two different Canadian provinces and two different American states but meeting at Quincy's Granite Rail and "that guy looks like you". Non anniversaire mon ami!"....

Gizmas day 2017, cabin fever with Blizzard of Ozz, tyme for a Chinese movie at AMC Common! YOUTH was "winner by elimination", a trailer on youtube. Fang Hua (2017). 205 pm. So it's the tail of a cultural troup in SW China throughout the 70s when "meanwhile back in the states" we were all DAZED AND KENFUSED! I mean, fuck, I went through Parris island but

Mao-era China was like that 24/7! Though watching Slickee Girls shoot AK-47s might even turn on some gun nuts...Facebook notes to self. Gang of Four is mentioned; NOT the blokes i saw Mission to Mymar open for sunday 19 auguste 79. Mao died 9 sept 76 ;he knew I'd seen the ramones the week previous, decided not to be a career marine, so his only amerikan threat was Ted Nugent. I was guarding Charleston SC when the Sino-Vietnam war happened in '79; shown in movie but all i remember from '79 was "my sharona" on radio in guardhouse and being HELD HOSTAGE BY THE HOSTAGES! Post-Mao, China started loosening up; from movie: gurl in shades which WAS verboten: "YOU LOOK LIKE A HONG KONG MOVIE STAR". OTHER VERBOTEN BOOTY WAS a cassette tape of Theresa Teng; a Taiwanese singer banned for being too bourgeoise; love songs like "i love you laurie' WOULD fit that genre! "The Moon represents my heart"- Theresa Teng HAS been covered by Jon Bonjovi! The Party music was quite rousing actually; youtube has For Your Pleasure, 10 hours of chinese communist music! also post-Mao, the troupe gets disbanded, they have a farewell feast, "KAMPEI"! and in the morning after, male/female soldiers passed out, heads on table or on floor....you'd party too, trust me! If, like my Puritan ancestors, you want to BAN Christmas, Chinatown WAS open and eatin' at emperor's garden was damn good! Who knows WHAT asian film i might catch New year's weekend, but this epic, 2 and half hours, Bollywood length, was AWEsome ESPECIALLY when the lady soldiers wore civilian clothes and lived modern, western lives; one lady married a trumpet player who quit playing post-service, ended up becoming an investment banker, so his wife paid off corrupt traffic bureau on disabled vet's truck....well that was basically a happy ending!".....
