Brockport NY, I saw SKIP Battin playin' bass in
the Untitled/album-side long "8 miles high" (Kenne Highland
air force influence!) Byrds with JF Murphy and free flowing salt
opening (my age 15/FIRST GIG, as audience; ENTHRALLED by da debbil

mcmanus. SO, TWO people whom covered "Cherry Pie"
graced the SUNY Brockport stage whilst Chrstine Lavin was a undergrad.

whom graced Brockport High stage was Lou GRAMMatico/black sheep
december '73 and me and a high school band opening with "suffragette

Cafe, formerly Studley's!". Like, Jethro Toe, I truly am
"Livin' in da past" and tyme for some GIZ-torical GIZ-story.
Mickey Bliss, esquire, maybe opened Club
Bohemia June 1993 and John Boucher (RIP)
and his wife played there shortly thereafter (the townies loved
her,hated me). Being a newly-wed, I probably missed Lincoln's
party coz "The Princess of the Trailer park" and I wuz
to her mother/my cuzzin up New Hampshire.
I DID play Kirkland Cafe 31 dec 1993 and wuz
banned 2 april 94. "Memories are made of this".....

day of WODIN! 27 December 2023. I think was John Felice's
birthday! On the Road with le Capitain Easy Chord to
a practice for a Hopelessly Obscure party with that Simon and Garfunkel
b-side "Big bright green pleasure machine" on WMFO. Line-up
for this party: 2019 Glider lineup: schmel herbie hind

guitar/captain easychord-vocals/keys, me-vocals/bass
plus some Club Linehan-ago-go 2019 refugees, Al Hendry-drums/john
keegan-sax. we started up with "at the rat",willie
Loco, then some of my originals BUT captain noodled about on Beatles
"sexy sadie", which was Totally Testicular! John
Keegan sang Velvet Underground "what goes on"
(we sounded like that 1974 velvets album on mercury maybe,as listened
to in Bloomington Indiana that summer) and Captain and
I swapped vocal lines on "helter skelter" which morphed
into stooges "little doll"/"american woman"
by guess who and zep's "whole lotta love". Lastly, after
threatening, we all wrote "The Armenian Hex" which was
the Seeds playing "you really got me" (dont tell nobody:
captain easychord is the reincanrnation of Beethoven).
"I'm so glad" to debut a new original fiddy years after
I saw Kiss open for the Stooges, playing THIS year with Dave Harrison's
Fast Tracks AND the Darlings! "I think that '24 iz gonna be
a good year" from the rock opera KENNE!

day of Thor 28 dec 2023. in 1950, in memphis, was born Wiliam
Alexander Chilton! Gee Julie and I met at the
Middle East and whilst Roky Erikson's The Evil One played, we
ran into Joseph Sater, now living in Florida;
Nabil is there til five and Sonia
retired! Whilst waiting for Julie, I worked on Roky's familly
tree and find a grave listed folks on his dad's side I knew naught
of! Roky's dad had a ancestor born Germany, died 1814, Wilson,
WV; googled it to my Revolutuonary War ancestor Johann Youst (born
Bavaria) whom died in 1815 only a days walk west of Wilson (Morgantown
area and Dad's distant cousin Fielding Youst DID play for the
Mountaineers in 1890s). SO, for all you schieskopfs sayin' I look
like Roky (we DID meet once, Lyres opened at Royale on the THIRTEENTH!),
we obviously have mutual German DNA. Essen schiess und tort.

well fiddy years ago 31 dec was Kiss/Teenage Lust/Stooges
then brought in 1974 with a oom=pap=pa band goin' on before Blue
Oyster Cult. Hopin' to do same at a private party with
Fast Trax (Voodoo Doll Dave Harrison
with a Hixx rhythm section) plus the Darlings
and I and kenne highland's air force FOURTH anniversary,
which is paper and Flowers; reading Gulcher (paper)
and 'ritin' by Stenson Eddie Flowers! ok, lemme
type up what happenin' so's I can get back to WHRB playin' da
blooze...coffee and John Lee Hooker makes me right/as long as
i can make it to the show...tomorrow!
