such, was hostess with mostest and like the Sci-Fi marathon, costumes
were Man Ray horror on streroids: "it's like Halloween here"
(secret transmission between lance Link, secret chimp to Inpsecotor
Darwin at APE HQ). "drag. burlesque. Fangoria is sponsoring!".
"glad i went. one performer has scenes from Carrie on the
screen". I should mention Throb Zombie WAS
on Ru Paul's drag race and there
IS youtube "imagine you're watching Ziggy Stardust in
'72 or leavin' the trailer in SC in '79 to catch rocky horror
at midnight". Kimmi Moore on youtube, one of the perforemrs.
as for the grade-Z film, it was a perfect waste of the talents
of Bruce Willis/meryl streep/goldie hawn. DID not see Death
becomes Her 31 July 92; married "princess of the trailer
park" 13 sept 92 (Miss Lyn gave me away; GLADLY!). BUT, ala
the "Thon, Throb Zombie DID encourage folks to holler out
stuff ala Rocky Horor. again, I wuz jonesin' for a film and "I'm
so glad" i went!"

Swingin' '60s london and all but hearing Uma Sumac in the soundtrack!
Best scene tho is our "Northern Girl" appears on
Val Doonican (I was living 8452 ridge road,brockport NY
but we usedta get Toronto stations on the telly) and goes on a date
with Mr. magic (lecherous magician). They go to that swingin' saint
james club and "Johnny" tries to pull our bird, tho he
favours Beatle George more. nightclub music: "makin' tyme"
by creation and a Sonics toon! Wish I weren't there! Johnny: "Mr.
Magic,then? why dont ye disappear...back to 1952" (cheeky scouser,
'e is). Lastly, our bird goes to a posh eatin' place and sez "I
'ear Mick Jagger eats 'ere"...IF I were the rock star, instead
of the roadie, I'd think I was Absoultely Fabulously starring in
this, if they took my screemplay"

seems he was at WA in glocuester, so at 0635, whilst I was in wardrobe
("wlelcome to the working week") WMBR became WTBS and
like my distant customer karen carpenter sang "it's yesterday
once more". 0635: ORIGINAL 1975 Garage reocrding of Willie's
"Mass ave'. followed by neighbourhoods "no place like
home" (b-side!). a couple Lost 45s (Willie) but "winner
by elimination": "Moron Rock" by Ready Teddy 1976
album! This was all before 0700 but WA/Hoods/Ready Teddy: "Morning
maniac music"!

day of THOR 25 Jan 2024. NUTHIN" better than a cup of coffee
and Finding your roots on channel 44 (PBS) at
0500! guest: Sammy hagar! SO, his great-grandparents
came from Italy to rochester NY as did Lydia Lunch mom's side,
the Vicarris. 1900 census; my grandfather on farm 18 miles east
and Sammy's grandparents on North Street; a quick google to North
street, rochester equals a eight minute back to Vicarri, 880 clifford
avenue,rochester, thus: ethnic Italian neighourhood that became
The Hood. december '73 Montrose opens for Foghat andJ. Geils in
Rochester and I was wearing a T. Rex t-shirt mail order from Circus
magaziine that damn sho' don' fit no mo. Sammy hagar with Montrose
was fantastic and one drunken 1985 Johnny and Jumper cables practice
we all discovered we liked Montrose! Matt Burns
(RIP) remembered seeing Jumper cables playing to nobody at Green
street station and we did "rock candy". Cables

during supper, the podcast app, and discovered Ugly
Things has a podcast! dave aguilar of chocolate
watch band talks to mike stax/ugly things/the Loons
for about an hour, facts I DID not know! Plus hearing all those
great Choclate Watch band toons DMZ may have covered about 1977.
I'll toss in a tale: abbey lounge, two days before 9/11, I had sang
"over under sideways down" and the guy whom i saw on tv
zero-dark 30 '79 riot on sunset strip said "good set",
then Professor Agular fronted thee psych-o-daisies for a couple
watchband toons. A nice guy, he used to host sci-fi films at some
Harvard observatory when he was Proff-ing here; any dude that sings
garage and is into sci-fi is "all right in my baby's book

Freitag 26 Jan 2024. A very excellent Mad Painter practice
with "circle of hands" by Uriah Heep learnt. Demons
and Wizards release 19 may 72 and "easy livin'' released
july '72; a AM hit on our 8452 ridge road brockport NY MONO AM
radio. By June '72, I had four mimeoed copies of my Rock On
fanzine out, inspired by who put da bomp.
