At Green Room, Bow street, somerville, caught Poor Eliza, solo singer-songwriter whom was a Big Elliot Smith fan, did a cover (sorry, I wasnt alive then) AND Big Star's "13"! Captain Easychord DOES know "what a fool believes": first Big Star album sent to my fanzine 1972 by Jon Tiven,New Haven Rock Press (younger brother Seth was in Dumptruck with BIG WORLD's drummer!). She also has a Janis Ian "society's child" voice. like/follow Facebook,yeah,yeah,yeah, Ginger Ibex too! Tonight wuz drums, Betty and Mal on violins and Sharon Crumrine-some vocals and piano. notes: "Kinetic Feline": Sharon writes themes with fire and cat but NOT Tim Sprague's 1999 pre-Crow Follow cd of FireCat (band). also an instrumental version of Lorena McKennet "marco polo". Green Room would be good for folk/classical (Ibex) and/or string quartet/jazz/"Hey beat mon" poetry NOT "Dirty-ass rock and roll" (which I only have after I eat John KALE!).Nice early show for this "alta kaka rocka" , chairs too. Afterwards "A hard day's night" b/w "I shoulda known better" to make it to anklin dan/Job Butterscott birthdays..."Bodies.....Need.....Rest"...

Sonntag 7 april 2024. Bad Bunny Most wanted brunch 1100-3 pm, music by DJ Randy Flow at Macchu Picchu. Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican rapper and there wuz lotsa merch and EVERYONE wore "Most Wanted" brown cowboy hatz even da push me-pull yous! I even won a Bad Bunny t-shirt in a raffle! The staff sez once-a-month they gonna have "special" brunches so "like" Machu Picchu on facebook and eat dere too!

Dienstag 9 paril 2024. stopped into the people's karaoke (free!) at Vera's 9-midnight and...the dj asked if i was captain easychord! I texted him and i sang ray charles "let's go get stoned" with a Leon Russell vocal. Captain sang Doobie Brothers "takin' it to the streets", released same week first Gismos was recorded 20 march 76. (Doobies sold more copies). People wuz dancing to Sonic Youth (?!). A dude dressed up like Michael Jackson sang "rock with you". Captain and I harmonise on "maybe i'm amazed". Someone sang a Morrisey cover. Folks were shit-faaced as the bartender saeg! (Horst Fascher!). EVERYBODY sang drunkenly in Red Sox gear to "My way". My exit toon: M. Jackson impersonator sings Wham's "Careless Whispher"....Holy 1985 Batman!
