There's a photo album on Mad Painter or such, everybody looked good and lip-synching was not THAT weird coz I just played the "Judy in disguise" bass line I always do. share/like/"tell everybody you know/we got rocknroll soul"

Dienstag 28 may 2024. The People's Karaoke Vera's 9 til midnight. There wuz a private party earlier, class of 2024. Some folks stayed for karaoke and drunken co-eds harmonising like the Shaggs on oasis' "Wonderwall" was proof that "if there's hell below,we're all goin'". After the Roy Orbison version of "oh pretty woman", they let a man in to do the popcorn, dat man bein' me, so I tried out James Brown "cold sweat". Despite bein' "da laziest man in show business", I even liked my vocal, sang to Gee Julie whom sez I got a standing ovation" (you'd think I'd sang "at the rat" wid da Boom Boom band). Turns out da karaoke was "Cold Sweat (part one); youtube has "Cold Sweat (part two)" where you almost hear the riff to the Stooges 'funhouse"....and when iggy sang "bring it down..." they damn sho knew where wuz dat confounded bridge!

sonntag 26 may 2024. 245 pm. somerville theater. I Saw The TV Glow. starts out in 1994, nineth-grade Goth Gurl obsessing over Psychic TV show The Pink Opaque. A lot of surreal activity and her and another teen end up in a Goth Club; Sloppy Jane perform live: they're quite good! A Gee Julie choice, though afterwards we were still scratching our heads on the plot, but for $12.00: recommended!

TIL then, it's online music box and poland's Radio Pogoda, "nostalgie" versus polka, so more Bob Bittner/WJIB?lounge/schlagers; e.g. coz it's Europe,they played Gilbert Becaud. 0630 was leo sayer's "when i need you" wid me playin' Jeff Beck-style weirdy bend notes acoustically....next month it's a "July Morning"!"......'
