Wednesday, July 24, 2024 day pf Wodin 23 july 2024. during SUPPER cruised youtube for Bollywood films and came acrost Guardian; 8 march 24 release ALREADY of youtube! a Tamil film dubbed into Hindi on youtube, poster on wikipedia. The New Indian Express gives it a Melissa Mills/Uriah Heep level review so OF COURSE i love it in a Plan 9 way. "horror revenge thriller"; starts out with these Grade Z-level sorcerors and a young gurl whom makes things happen (good and bad) through her mental powers! Even as the grandson of a dairy farmer, this is even almost too cheesy for me! (watching it is like watching "the wreck of the ole 97"!). THe New indian express gives it a 1/5 rating; Schlock arounda da clock at da orson welles cinema Mass Ave! (RIP)

"listen to da music": Sandy Nelson! Sonny and Cher! The Astronauts! "Back in '72", Ken Seger gambled on a Astronauts album (49 cents?) at a used reocrd store Greece NY town mall...beleive i also got Terry Knight and the Pack's Reflections and a "bang a gong" 45 there. Freitag 26 july 2024. 0500. caught the last hour of the sand pebbles on FX retro. DID not see this 20 dec 66 film; Dad wuz in 'Nam and Ma could afford me Mad Magazine,so i saw the satire (Alfred E. nneumann? kenneth E. Highland? "what, me worry"?). Little did I know of this 1926 event in China, though "the marines have landed in Shaghai!"...all else, a period piece military film but let's talk about TWO stars: googling during morning coffee, Steve McQueen wuz in the Great Escape,1963, a Highland boy favourite, then came this, then Bullitt in '68 (my lil brother telling me about "cool" car chase scene). On a SERIOUS note, though: Gavin Macleod wuz in McHale's navy (comedy) a serious role in sand pebbles then comedy again in the Love Boat! 2 out of three Aquatic comedies! someone tell Blowfish the news".
