"Ken and Gee Julie Goethe Institut Boston Freitag 8 Sept 17: wilhelm neusser elsewhere provincial perpsectives. paintings not from berlin but from provinces. gee julie took photo of me next to sinter klaus. a home on a strasse looked like hannover where "you-lie" (Duetsch und Dutch sprechen) hast freunds. GG Allin's mutti,ein Gunther, also ist von Hannover. "you-lie" met some folks and the feller said "this is flensburger beer? do you know where Flensburg is?" why Pierre Le Coutre ist von there! "let's toast your friend in flensburg!" (photo by me). We cornered a Deutschman on the steps and Blodgetted out our Deutsch lineage and where "you-lie" had been summer. he probably said "mein gott in himmel"! (beforei started collecting Beatle records in '68,i still read WWII comics; ALL influences on music to kill by! many more goethe institute events coming up! we'll be there like flies on schiess!"...

saturday 9 sept 17; AXS tv, Cream classic album disraeli gears! UK jack bruce still alive and demonstrating "sunshine of your love" on upright double bass; Clapton talking about going up an "ock-taive" to play a lead. Gee Julie goes to college reunion; K. Kenne uses AMC common pass and catches DUNKIRK! "a nail biter' reviews say, will the Tommy back it back to Britain? more sinking ships than Titanic; dad's mother had a cuzzin in canada name lockwood his canadian navy vessel sunk in '44 by a u-boat; what a horrible death! my distant cuzzin winston SPENCER churchill's "never surrender' speech was 4 jun 40 and four years, two days later, D-Day and a year later we whup hitler's ass. this was a very 1968 day; my 12th birthday i had a WWII history paperback but by august had bought "sunshine of your love" and as told, june '68,life, jefferson airplane on cover, that was pivot point (growing my hair too). still Cream and WW II ;nine years later: Music to kill by!!!".....

SUNDAY 10 sept 17: oktoberfest, german american club walpole mass. and what a GREAT tyme! Every Picture tells a story dont it? and Many PHOTO OPS! good food, we danced to a german band from rhode island (Gee Julie taught me the chicken dance! AND we were on a conga line; sadly no photos!). sat with an elderly couple, guy army vet, army band, deutschland, came out from MILWAUKEE just to dance! and when they speed up the chicken dance it's at hardcore pace and i thought i was in the mosh pit! there's a viking reenactment group with guys that look like my proto-germanic DNS and there was a shooting range! lots of trees, merch tables, maps of Deutsachland, future events (website). PONY RIDES TOO but Gee Julie reminded me i was too big for such....after Gee Julie's trip to deutschland i said "why leave? it's all here in walpole! Amerika First!""....

"new york streets,the west end, villa victoria, tent city, stop the highway: "progress" vs. community control in boston's neighbourhoods". gee julie REALLY liked this, archivist from northeastern showed olde photos ,red-lining ethnic districts, uprooting "broke folk" for yuppie-ass boston, rich versus poor, a tiring tail, highlights: a 1967 movie about villa victoria in south end, community protest where someone says "right on" plus also discussion it was doctor spock hisself, (L. Nimoy, no relation to L. reed) who brought up the plight of the west end removal; q&a with elder ladies whom lived through the uprooting etc. history, local politics, Gee julie saying "I remember this!" me: 'aint you glad you came?" and......FREE!!!!! coming soon; "why thoreau still matters"!".....
