freitag 11 Oct 2024. Der haus, von arbeit, Czech male, and letter from Dino records, inside a photo copy of a letter GG Allin wrote Dino in '86, re my 30th birthday. Dino: "I gave GG Allin your phone number"; talkin' to GG on a Land Line whilst Exiled on Highgate Street! The gist was "i didnt get your letter about Kenne's birthday til day after"....between Cheetah Crome and GG Allin at my 30th...Mein Gott in Himmel! rest was "tell Kenne i wanna do a gig with him" (that'll be "and when i die": Jay Gruberger on bass!) and rest wuz a buncha Four Letter words....quite a bit different from autumn "71 letter from kevin allin, Lunenburg Vermont: "I'm 15, a drummer,into the who and the small faces,musically"....my sixth cuzzin twice! ("drink fight and fornicate" dun wid a fife and drum band 1776?)

saturday 12 october 2024. 0100. coast to coast AM. guest: Annie Haslam of renaissance. five octave range but "me brother was a better singer; 'e were signed by brian epstein an even opened for the Beatles". She also heard the Beatles 1969 rooftop Let It Be concert and then joined Renaissance, EVEN touring Boston this year! Now, as usual, wayback machine: some SUNY Brockport NY college kids were selling records on College avenue september '72; I bought a renaissance album coz of the yardbirds connection plus first black oak arkansas album. Research: it was the 1969 pre-Annie debut with Jane (sis of Keith) Relf singing. Christine Lavin, folksinger, was entering her senior year at SUNY Brockport but DID NOT scoop on the renaissance/BOA albums (or DID we cross paths SUNY Brockport library where I'd read lillian Roxon's rock encyclopedia after work?)...One more TAIL: annie and roy wood in studio, Sir Paul macca listens, comes into visit, they all hang for an hour! Annie/Roy and Macca 'avin' "toast and marmalade for tea"! (I threw mine in the 'arbour, such a stupid git")

saturday In da Rain feels like the 12th of october 2024. 40 vendors couldnt make me change mind, so I went out in da rain wid Miss Lyn, Bow (diddley) market, vintage duds, overpriced Beatles records BUT my friends at High Energy Vintage i "bott' (brockport NY accent fiddy years ago) another ten bucks worth of 45s: "yakety yak" by da coasters released APril '58, same month as Schmel Herbie Hind ("til the lawyer proved i wuz only hatched"_HANK!). LIKE High enrgy vintage on Facebook AND also LIKE Great eastern trading company! I "bott" best of eric burdon and animals volume two ten dollars Coz I did usedta cover "when i wuz young". Spoke wid da vendor in a "Leopard skin pillbox hat" whom said they have 40.000 records in their Somerville location plus 45s only one mile north of Groupie Towers II! need to pick up Chuck Berry/lil richard/ray charles albums!

Sonntag 13 october 2024. Miss Lyn tole me about karaoke at Turing Tavern, Inman square, Sunday nights seven pm; dinner specials, nice dj and i did James Brown's "Cold sweat"(see video on my FB page) and wilson pickett's "midnight hour". LIKE Turing tavern on facebook, along with Mad Painter AND Kenne Highland's air force. If y'all read this sonntag 21 october, then this weekend comin up - somerville flea market davis square 11:00-4m, then turing tavern karaoke seven pm; mayhap i see you there!
