Cousin Lynn of Hillbilly at Harvard

"saturday 2 dec 2023. WHRB Hillbilly at harvard 1000. hot club of cowtown was guest; read Wordpress.com. 3 June 2000 and Hot Club had played Johnny D's Somerville the night before. I wuz still drinkin' and married then so dont remember being there BUT: country calendar is a true flashback for TWO reasons: they mentioned the black Rose on Church street, harvard square and I THINK I was in there drinking Guiness, listening to Celtic music with my then wife "Princess of the trailer park'..."Dead Boston Club!" Also, NOT to be "arguing with Ghosts" but John Lincoln Wright appeared said he was "marshalling' the Central Square World's fair...now, i have a hungover memory of me and "Trailer Swift"'s cuzzin attending this....i know there was a ho-hum local Boston rock stage crowded with hipsters but where the action WAS was me and legendary (RIP) local bluesman henry Spencer watching local gospel group The Bibletones! Gotta say with that fair was something for everybody!"..

saturday 2 Dec 2023. My 67 and 2/3 birthday KENtinues as Schmel herbie Hind informs me Brian Young played "Be More flamboyant"! Approxiamately at that tyme almost I woulda been lissenin' to WPAQ, Mount Airy,NC to Joe Bussard (RIP) playing a Jimmie Rogers 78 with surface noise! If Tommy Ramone wuz still alive, we'd be doing a bluegrass version of Tracks "Singing Brakeman On You"

saturday 2 december 2023. 6 Pm. still partyin' dude 67 and 2/3....British invasion at six, Zoomer radio 740 AM ,Toronto. Beatles "hard days night" in mono through phone,then Spencer Davis "I'm a man". As usual, I ALWAYS have a tail: Ken kaiser and I did this toon at Great Scott's, Allston sometyme pre-Covid; a GREAT choice von Herr kaiser, I tossed in, onstage, a James Brown version of "Wild Mouse" (Bob Both engineered both Hello World and james "70s Polydor albums). BUT what I gladly mostly remember was a horn section of the BGN's John Keegan AND Bob Moores of Fable Grazer (whom got us that Tuesday night at that "dead boston club")....tyme to bring back this classic toon, since I, of course, do injustice to Beatles toons"...

Sunday 3 december 2023. It's orgy season on WHRB so 1000 I DID tune into Zepathon! What COULD be interesting about a Led Zep orgy that started at 0200? They started playing the Rhino remastered cds backwards from last track to opening track.That means I missed all the post- "Stairway" shit albums and caught Led Zep II on my phone, going backwards to Led Zep I! Kudos to that young Harvard co-ed lady whom said "Led Zepplein I was released 12 Jan 69"; COULD DNA prove to be my "Idiot Bastard Daughter"? that means at 99 state street, Brockport first half of year, WCMF, Rochester (Lydia Lunch DID listen to that FM station!) woulda played "Good Times Bad Times", SO heavy and Miss Lyn DID own a copy of Zep I, seen at Groupie Towers in '77 (Patti Smith, my ass: Top Ten influential album! along with Disraeli Gears and Ummagumma: Ooga-Booga!). Zep II came out, Zep tours western NY, all fall '69, 37 Lechase Drive,Brockport next to SUNY Brockport (senior year of Gulcher's Bob Richert) and WBBF-AM played the 45 version of "whole lotta love"; Jimmy PAge guitar break and got a guitar Gizmas '70! Got Zep I and II, paper route money "early 1970" and last BUT not least Jimmy Page shopped at In your ear, Boston where there WAS a Kenne Highland section; Kenneth was NOT Angered! (saw him harvard film archive but that is ANOTHER tail for a Slovene fanzine!)"..

Freitag 8 Dec 2023. channel surfing at 0500 caught the last hour of Letters to Satan Claus on Scy-Fy tv.2020 but it's like Plan Nine movie meets the Hallmark channel! google Crappy Movie reviews: that sums it all up! a lil girl mails a letter to Santa but mispells it as Satan; she returns to small town (Galt, Ontario! about an hour from my great-grandmother Highland and Mount Brydges, Ontario, I was there in '67); camp-horror maybe coz when folks open Gizmas presents and find severed body parts, they look SO fake! And that's MY crappy movie review! In the '90s, Blockbuster or such you could rent out "turkey" movies with a turkey for a dollar. e.g. Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse. My tastes havent changed since last millenium"....
