About 0130, WRKO- 680 AM, I heard on Coast to Coast AM all kindsa great Grand Funk Railroad musak like "footstompin' music", in MONO....then how could I NOT recognise that flat Great Lakes ax-cent saying "Dahn and I were sittin' around and we heard this great bass player practicing with ? and the Mysterians"...that being Mel "Shahk"-er and thus, 1969, Grand Funk Railroad born and by Gizmas, had "time machine" b/w "high on a horse" which I cranked on my "little sister" close and play, in mono, whilst she, Julie, wuz crankin' Monkees and "Julie do you love me"...Schmel Herbie Hind EXCITEDLY posted on my wall the Farner interview, he also being an avid Coastie. Remember: alien/human hybrids look "normal" and are of average height!"...

Come saturday Morgen" 0500 16 Dec 2023. Not even HUNGOVER and Barmggedon is is on USA (the trailer park channel). Besides dumbass drunken redneck games like "drunken ax hole", at the end the musical guests do a number or two: this SECOND season ("oh no! please God help me!") has "Man i feel like a Wombat" sang (flip side was "remember you're a woman") and, to add "Insult to injury" Boys To Men is guests! Dang, I need money too, but I usually volunteer for overtime! ("dont quit the day job"-Ken Hensley; "dont ride the lear jet baby"-James Roger McGuinn). BUT, Steve Miller, YOUR SAVIN' GRACE is Boys to Men singing the Backstreet Boys tune "I want it that way"; with steel guitar and a country band! Hot Dang! Ray Charles would be proud: Modern Sounds in country western music! I researched the chords and it's mostly eminor/C/G and you gOT to hear the 2001 vanilla Fudge version! saturday 16 dec 2023. 0600. WMBR 88 rewind. They play da hitz this week CKLW, Windsor, ontario, canada 6 july 76...I was in paris then: PARRIS ISLAND! Parker "inspired vy Dizzy Giullepsie's "manteca" and ray charles "what i say"..."Skunk (Biblically Speaking)" means Dizzy and Ray begat Bobby Parker whgom begat Lennon, whom begat da Sylvers. Roseanne & Skip

day of Thor 21 Dec 2023. what BETTER way to start the solstice than watching Finding your Roots 0500 channel 44! Guests: Clint Black and Roseanne Cash! Turns out with Roseanne's dad, JR Cash, "was a genealogy buff"! I am both! (doing genealogy in da buff! Stark naked and the Car Thieves!). I had read a Cash bio where he traced the Cash line to Scotland, Roseann been to the village etc. Her mother Vivian Liberto, was third generation Sicilian and there wuz new fax NOT in her book (I Walked the Line, trashin' JR's charachter, June Carter wuz a homewrecker etc). Clint Black also has a Sicilian-American southern mother and she and the Libertos were like 12 miles away in Sicily (meaning I need to figger where madonna's Ciccone's hailed from). Other surprises too, including fact that one per cent of your DNA equals from your fourth or fifth great-grandparent so for me that's the 1700s and my DNA says i'm one per cent scandinavian (y-DNA) so couple-three hundred years ago my dad's dad DNA was Viking,i guess (thank you skip gates!). "Freitag (on mein mind!) 22 Dec 2023. Second Fiddle WMBR was SUPERB this morn: 0645 Bill Monroe's "Christmas Time's a-comin'" (ANY morning starting with Bill Monroe is da ballz!) AND "if we make it through december", a 27 Oct 73 release; I wuz diggin' it even then though I remember buying Mott the Hoople or Bowie's PINUPs then ("glam country"? "we need it man!"). CANT resist a Dead People Fact! (If I listened to David Gates versus Skip gates, I'd fuggin' "Make it with you"!). Merle's Haggard ancestors early 1700s wuz in Overwharton parish, stafford county, virginny (God Bless wikitree, Mother Mopp and O'Riley). After the SECOND cup of coffee, I googled and this parish is about five miles east of where I was conceived ("well Kenneth I got pregnant with you about June 1955 when your father and I were living at Mrs DeShields house on route 610,Garrisonville,Virgina"-my mother/cuzzin!). Now let's be Classically Four(skinned) and have a wee bit of pair-a-normal. As a young lad in ole Virginny, we used to drive past the Crucifix Monument, this big ole crucifix off'n 95 (drove past friday 25 april 80 with Jack kerouac's cuzzin On the Road to Boston after leaving South carolina trailer park). Don't forget Gizmas '70 Ma bought me a nine dollar Sears acoustic and this were a single-working Ma! (I am SO like them po' country folk's songs). Fiddy-three years ago, I managed the low E in "8 miles high" but didnt master the chords til summer '74....Merry Gizmas to all!
