OK, big news…the fabulously handsome and personable Jimmy
Birmingham, ex-Real Kids and now
Mach 5 drummer was in a motorcycle accident
this weekend..he's OK!!! YAY!! Glad to hear you're doing OK Jimmy!!!!! After spending
the night in the hospital he's out and on crutches and thinks he'll be able to
play the Mach 5 gig this Saturday, August
13th at Dodge Street in Salem…so all you North Shore gurls go to Dodge
Street and show the fabulously handsome Jimmy how happy you are that he's he's
still in one piece!!!!! And here's a reminder for you folks south of Boston: Cheryl
Eagan-Donovan's Real Kids documentary,
All Kindsa Girls is being shown at
the Rhode Island Int'l Film Fest in Providence,
RI thisWednesday August 10th at 3:30 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce Theatre
and an added incentive for any BGN readers who venture down to the film fest next
week, Cheryl will be hosting an after party immediately following the screening.

doing their LAST SHOW>,at
the Abbey on Friday, August 19th, so be there to say good bye, ..and
it's a killer show with Old Money, Lentell
and The Curses and of course
