OK so I'm sad….no more Marvels….I mean we can see Jesse Meyer Von Kenmore in Ragged Old Flag and we can see the incredible Michele Paulhaus in The Dents and I can listen to the two CDs all I want but there is just no way to replace Staffy!!??? I could go on but we all know how great he is to watch up there so I won't..but Damn!…anyway, their last Boston show was awesome of course and everybody had fun but it was sad to see 'em go….but life goes on so..this week the Abbey is still rockin"!!! yeah Wednesday, August 24 Triple Thick is there, they go on at 11:45…so head over for a fun time….then Friday(8-26) sounds like a killer night with The Tampoffs Record Release Show, also on the bill is Spitzz, Tommy & The Terrors and The Konks….then Saturday night (8-27) at The Abbey you can find the Prime Movers, Muck & The Mires and more to be announced….also on Saturday Red Invasion playing at Dee Dee's in Quincy…..also on Friday (8-26) we wanted to mention The Gobshites and the lovely ladies of Through The Keyhole Burlesque with be at the Paradise Lounge on Comm Ave Boston…..and hey don't forget about the upcoming BGN show at the Abbey, Friday Sept 23! We got the Killer Abs (the all girl punk coverband) kicking things off at 9pm., Then at 9:45 is Shoot the Moon - a new band of rockers w/ famed Sam Jodrey( drummer of Toxic Narcotic) on lead vocals! Then at 10:45 get set for Deborah (WHRB) Frost, Albert (BOC) Bouchard and the Dictator's Ross the Boss and their touring band Brain Surgeons NYC, followed by the most handsomest men in the world, Gulcher Recording artists MACH 5 who will finish off the evening in high style…and by then, we hope , everyone's sweety pie Jimmy Birmingham will be all healed up and ready to go crazy on the drums….oh yeah mark the calendar folks it's coming up sooner than you think!!! I gotta go look for some Staffy pics to hang on my wall…bye for now and WRITE TO ME!!!!!!!
