He's just come out with a new CD and tickets are only available at Newbury Comics so get 'em TODAY!!(Monday that is!) yeah I remember when I first moved to the city, we're talking circa 1976, I lived in Harvard Square at the famed "Groupie Towers", my roomie and I would cross the street to the Blue Parrot (on Monday nights if I remember correctly!) to see the new duo 'Ocasek and Orr'Е Ocasek on acoustic guitar and Orr on electric bass..that was pre-Cap'n Swing never mind The CarsЕgee, how the times fly and how things change and even sometimes come around full circle!Е..Tuesday, Oct 11th is a Katrina Benefit at The Abbey with Gato Malo, Ramona Silver and Alto Reform SchoolЕ..And don't forget this Wednesday, October 12th is Red Invasion at Great Scott's in Allston..they are a band WELL worth going out for!!! Even on a Wednesday!!! Then on Friday, Oct 14th, at The Abbey is Penis Fly TrapЕ..and Saturday's rockin there( The Abbey) with The Drags and Sasquatch and The SickabilliesЕЕ.Sunday (10-16) at TT's is The Downbeat 5 with The BellraysЕЕ.and speaking of TT's here's a great night: Saturday October 22 the Ducky Boys 10th Anniversary with Shanghai Valentine, Morgan Knockers and Light of DayЕ..and Saturday Oct 29th at TT's are The Bags, Muck & The Mires, The Classic Ruins and Deep Purple Helmut also For you Real Kids/ Boston Scene fans out west Controversy Films presents All Kindsa Girls (Real Kids Documentary) at the San Francisco Rock & Roll Film Festival, November 11th & 12th..visit again for more info to come on this!!!Е and on Saturday, November 12th Reddy Teddy and Foxpass are out at the Attic in Newton and Saturday November 12th is also the Opening Reception for my art show with photographer Kristian Peters; "Negative Sex and Untold Secrets" Е..we'll be showing Kristian's photos and my Pastel paintings and Collages!! we'd LUV to see you all at the Zeitgeist in Inman Square Cambridge,so we'll have BOOZE, FOOD, ART and sexy Monique Ortiz (of Bourbon Princess) to keep you entertainedЕЕ.the opening is 3-6PM and then you can make a night of it by heading to dinner someplace say like Bukowski's (read our review here) and then over to TT's for a cool evening with The Konks, Triple Thick and Bomp Recording artists Black Lips and til next weekЕ.see ya and write us!!!!
