OK right off the bat…this Monday night, October 7th is gonna be a
LOAD of..fun…over at the Abbey…The Groovie
Ghoulies are back and along for the ride are The
Dollyrots and The Helper Monkeys and
as an extra bonus, Sugabomb!!! four great
bands AND you get to check out the new and improved Abbey!! But that's not
all folks….on the pub stage is a "semi" open mike night with the likes of
the Ducky Boys, 11th
Hour, Wesites,
Scars and many more…so head on over, and early for the pub stage….now

theatre, death disco and a man who is "ready to assert the supremacy of cock
rock" will all make up part of the November Abbey Lounge CD Release residency
for vocalist Leah Callahan's (ex-Turkish
Delight, Betwixt) new band The Glass Set.
The Glass Set, comprised of Callahan and Jenn Dines (ex-Anti-Love Project),
Dave Dines (ex Ho-Ag), Joel Cohen (ex-Dusky Silos) and drummer Allen Esser
(ex-Primitive Romance, Drumming on Glass, Transmission, ex-Lady of Spain)
is releasing their self-titled album officially on November 8, 2005. So this
Tuesday is the best time to head over and catch these guys!!!…and then…well
you know the drill…..this
Friday, November 11th is
the Mach 5 CD Release Party
at the Abbey!!!
(Their new CD; "Meet Mach V" is on Lawless
Records)
to help celebrate the illustrious occasion will be
