Roy Loney of the original Flamin’ Groovies has passed away. He left the Groovies in the early seventies but his solo records in the 80s got played a lot on college and alternative radio. Read his bio, discography etc here. Skybar has Carissa Johnson as a guest this Tuesday, 12/17 at 8PM on his Rising show on WMFO 91.5. Carissa will do an accoustic set and Skybar will play her new album, which is also accoustic, A Hundred Restless Thoughts. Her CD release show will be Wednesday the 18th at the Burren.
